Bug squashed!
Fortunately, that didn't take long. I don't know how that got by me, but the game definitely works properly now.
I thought that the performance problems I was seeing might have been caused by something I added in a recent build, but going through older development builds, I've found that it's been happening for a while. I've been recording a lot of matches lately which always causes a bit of slow-down, so I guess I forgot how smooth the game is supposed to run. I'm really not sure what the cause is (and I'll be trying to figure it out), but in the meantime, I've just limited the quality options. This is obviously not a visually-demanding game, so "turning the graphics down" isn't really going to be noticeable anyways.
So please, if you've downloaded a version of CATACLYSM before 1.2, just delete it and grab a newer version.
