Moon Jelly Games is the developer of CATACLYSM and the upcoming turn-based action/strategy game, MicroCosmic: Water Bear Warfare.
Believe it or not, I came up with the CATACLYSM before I even played the game that inspired it (TowerFall)-- I had only heard people talk about it on podcasts. I wanted to create my own take on that sort of simple, yet exciting local multiplayer arena battle gameplay. Since starting development, I've discovered numerous games with a similar spirit including Samurai Gunn, Starwhal, Duck Game, and Inversus. If these games are your jam (and they should be-- they're awesome), then you should give CATACLYSM a try.
